It annoys me when...

...I have a good point that I want to write about but suddenly it disappears and I can never remember what it was.

Uh, I just forgot what I wanted to write next. Haih

Later.

A letter to the chocolate factory

Dear Cadbury Milk Chocolate,
I'm sorry, but I'm switching to Whittakers Milk Chocolate because it is way more awesome!
Heheh.

I really need to do my assignment now. I've been doing other stuff just to avoid doing that one thing!

Later!

What's wrong with me?

I slept at 7.30pm woke up at 8 when Shufaiha called and then switched off the lights and went back to sleep until 7.15 am. What's wrong with me?

I still haven't finish my assignment and I still haven't studied for my test. :-(

Should I be happy?

I stumbled upon the ex's blog and apparently he is having a miserable time right now. I don't know what I should feel, should I feel happy that he is miserable because that is what secretly wanted? Or should I feel sad because someone who used to be so important in my life is feeling lost? How come I don't feel anything?

Good friends & good food, what more could you ask for?

Shufaiha made us dinner! Yay! We ate so much sampai lebam perut. Hehe. Che also made pengat pisang for desert and jo&I attempted our first bergedil and I think we did a good job :-) I also made my favourite tea & zaty made the pasta. We had dinner at 7 but continued talking until it was almost 11. We had so much fun!

Good friends & good food, what more could you ask for, ay?

My addiction is back...

Alex let me borrow her Sims 2 and now I cannot stop thinking about the game. I have an assignment due on Wednesday and a test on Thursday! I cannot wait for the week to end so I can spend my time on my Sims. Haha. I am so pathetic!

It's not the end of the world...

I went down to the common room to watch TV when I saw my friend there and so I joined her. We started talking about random stuff at first and then the topic of marriage came up. This friend of mine is my age and she'll be graduating end of this year (I am so jealous!) and God willing will be getting married early next year. I am so happy for her! I asked her how she got her parents (and his parents) to agree about getting married since both of them are still young and do not have a stable job yet. She told me it wasn't easy to convince them about it but in the end they agreed. I am actually amazed on how confident and sure she is about this huge decision that she made. Getting married is a big deal! and I am also amazed that the guy is very sure about it as well. I don't think there are many guys like that these days. All they care about is having fun.

Anyway, I do hope someday I will find the ONE. I'm not planning to get married anytime soon, well, at least not until I am 24 (but if I do find someone and if he wants to marry me and if I think he is the one (has a stable job etc etc), then I might just agree even if I am not yet 24)

I think my recent break up with my boyfriend of 3 years is one of the best things that has happened to me. When I really think about it, I don't think I want to be with him for another 50 years. We are just not for each other, we are just too different. I couldn't see that when I was with him because I was too obsessed with having someone in my life, even if the person is not right for me. I did love him, but hey, love alone is not enough. Trust, honesty, understanding are all important in a relationship too. I guess I have to give him credit for ending the relationship, even though I still think the way he ended it was rude. I haven't talked to him since early April and I don't plan to keep in touch with him after this. There are just too many memories and it's just too hard to become friends after what happened. Alex told me I should go date other people just to let him know that I'm okay without him, but I told her I don't want to do that, even if I do find someone, I don't want him to know, because that just shows that I haven't moved on. All I want to do now is move on, and be happy. I want to be happy.

Things I've learnt...

You've got to give in order to receive as well
I know some people who only take but never give. They're very selfish and only think of themselves. Sometimes they know that they're doing it but they just don't care. What I do with this type of people is I just stop giving and hope that they get the message. I used to not mind that much, but it is starting to affect me, and so I have to stop caring.

You should not judge people
I realize this even more after I came here. Everyone is different and they have reasons for being the way they are. You should not judge them without understanding the whole context/situation that they are in. You should not judge them but you can offer advice if you think it is good for them.

Mistakes happen, learn from it
Mistakes happen, and there is no use thinking about why it happened, it'll just make you go crazy. All you can do is move on and learn from the mistakes.

Close friends can "harm" you mentally and emotionally
I'm not sure how to explain this one.

that is all for now

The Ryhmeweaver

I am currently listening to The Ryhmeweaver- Hymns of wrath & passion. :-)
Frankly speaking, I was never a fan of hip-hop, but when Ms.Muna played the Rhymeweaver's cd in her car last year, I actually liked it a lot! The ryhmeweaver is one of my seniors back in college :-) To the Rhymeweaver, I don't know if you will read this or not, but I just want to say, I love your songs! :-) Keep making them k! You're very talented :-) and I was so happy that Zaty gave me a the second copy of your cd!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I seriously have been eating a lot these past few days and I don't think it's because of the new plates anymore :-( It must be the weather I guess? or maybe I'm just bored and so I eat.

I just realized that TEAP is due next Wednesday and I haven't even started writing yet. I also have a test the day after I submit my TEAP assignment. I am dead. :-(

Yes, I did not manage to finish the book before tutorial BUT I did manage to participate a lot in the discussion and I am very happy for that. I have been quiet these past few tutorials and it feels good to talk again. Heheh. I only have about two weeks of classes and then it's study week! My exam is on the 19th June...I have about two weeks to study for that one paper. :) :)

My darlings are coming in 10 minutes, I'm making dinner tonight. Yum Yum.

Later.

Sunday, May 18, 2008

I think...

1. I will not be able to finish this book before tutorial tomorrow. I am actually nervous about going tomorrow because I feel guilty towards Tatjana, my tutor. She has been so nice and understanding whenever we didn't read or do our tutorial worksheets and last week she had asked us nicely to at least finish this book before coming to tutorial. I am only up to page 33 and there is like another 200 pages to go.

2. I will be eating a lot for the next 2 or 3 days just because I am excited about my new mugs and plates. I bought them at Briscoes earlier today and they were on sale. I paid $13 for what should be $30. Cool, ay?

3. Chuck Bass is my dream guy. Unlike the others, I think he is the only one who is not a hypocrite. He is what he is and he is not afraid to admit it. He's just Chuck Bass.

4. Cadbury Flake Luxury is way better than Cadbury Flake. The chocolate is less crumbly because it is covered with Cadbury Milk Chocolate. It is way way easier to eat than Cadbury Flake. Yum!
Yesterday was so much fun!

I went out to town with Alex to help her choose a new rug for her new room & to find a birthday present for her boyfriend, Paul. She came to my place at 1 and we hung out at my room for a little bit and headed out to town. I took her to Bed Bath Beyond (I think it's becoming one of my favorite stores now, heheh) and then we walked down Lambton Quay just to look if there was anything that she could get Paul for his birthday. After looking around for a bit, she found something that Paul has mentioned before and she was so happy that she found it! So she paid for the stuff and we went back to Bed Bath Beyond to get the rug and then we took a bus up to her place. Before reaching her place, we stopped at Paul's because she wanted to show me where she used to live. Paul was a bit shy and did not talk that much, but he was nice :). After that we walked to her place which is about 10 minutes from Paul's and we hung out for an hour or so just talking :) Oh we also tested the rug out to see if it fits and it does :) So, Yay us! When it was time to go home, Alex walked me to the bus stop and stayed with me until the bus came :)\

I reached home and an hour later Iffah, Imran, her little sis and her cousin came to visit :) Since my room was small it was pretty crowded with people. Syarena (Imran's gf) came to join us with two other friends who used go to school with Iffah. Zaty came too! I wasn't close to all of them but last night we talked as if we already knew each other for so long! It was really cool! At about 9.30 they had to go because "the bosses" have called them back for dinner! hehe.

So that was pretty much my whole day.

:)

Bye!

I've done my first interview just now. Thanks Tarita! :) I have like 4 more people to find I think. I tried knocking on Conal's door last night but he didn't open... I think he had some company over or something coz I could hear someone inside the room. Hehe. Hmm...

I'm going to interview one more person tonight if they're free.
Wish me luck

Ok suddenly rasa lawak pula when I look at my e-portfolio profile:

Iqah

Hi, my name's Rasyiqah but you can call me Iqah. I'm from Malaysia and currently doing my B.Ed Tesol at Victoria University. This is my first time studying overseas far from my family and so far I am enjoying this new experience Smile

Haha. mcm nak cari jodoh je.
I have finally submitted my interview questions for Carolyn to check and she replied right that instant! She's quite happy with it I think, and she added a bit to it but I don't mind! Now I can move on to other things :)

I shall now go hunt my victims...muahahaha.

the 400 and 1 post

I've just finished doing my e-portfolio for my TEAP assignment 1 reflection. I hope I did it correctly because frankly speaking, I have no idea what I just did. Add files? Create views? It is seriously like what Jo said, "orang tua version of friendster". I know reflections are useful and important, especially for someone who will be working as a human service professional (moi), but I cannot help but feel so annoyed with this whole e-portfolio thing that we are required to do to pass the course. It's not even graded...

One down, two more to go. (assignments, I mean)

Update: I just came back from Jo's room to ask her about the e-portfolio entry that I just did. She said that I need to submit it to my tutor but make sure that it is my final "reflection" because if I fail, they will be no re-submission (that is what we've been told in class, which I wasn't paying attention to). The weird thing is, how is it even possible to fail it if it is not graded? I think it is only possible to fail IF I do not submit it at all, but if it is not even graded? (the e-portfolio is just one of the things we need to do to pass the course and it is not graded)
Haih ape ape je lah. I'm going to wait until the last minute to submit it. Just in case I want to change anything about my reflection on assignment one.

I just came back from Bed Bath and Beyond and bought myself a new inner duvet suitable for winter. Ngeh ngeh. No more cold and lonely nights...eh, i mean no more cold nights, I will still get lonely, haih... The lady at the store who helped me choose the duvet was very nice and friendly, THANKS :) :) . I was very clueless when I got there... before Jo told me, I didn't even know there were different types of duvet for different types of weather. (Hey, it's my first time living overseas alone, ok). Mak, Ayah, your little girl is growing up! Hehehe.

Next item that I will buy is a blender! Well, it was supposed to be the first thing that I had wanted to buy, but the weather is getting colder so I decided to get the duvet first.

Haha. I am actually buying my own blender? Duvet? What?

This picture was taken about 4 months ago during my school experience (I think that is what it's called) in MRSM Merbok. I love this picture simply because every time I look at it, I just cannot wait to become a real teacher.

In 4 years, InsyaAllah.

I am a bit annoyed with the E-Portfolio that I am supposed to do for my TEAP 132 course! I'm just too lazy to even bother how to work out the whole thing! It's not that hard, really, but I just cannot be bothered.

I think I need to go to bed bath and beyond tomorrow before going to class. I need to buy a few things there.

I think I'm going to sleep now.
Good night

From last week

Dance Practice from last week

Killing time in the library

I love the view from the library
