If today was my last day on earth, I would wake up early in the morning, with a smile on my face, thanking God for giving me such a good life, for even giving me the chance to experience living. I will spend the rest of my day doing things that I like with the people I love.

I'm not sure of what I would say. I'm not sure if everything can be said on my last day. But I would make sure I don't say anything that would hurt anyone.

Can I start over, please?

Sometimes, I wish life was like The Sims. If life gets too hard you can start over. Fresh. No one will ask you about the past. No one will question what you did and why you did it. You can delete things you don't like and keep the ones you do like. But life's not like that. No matter what, I have to live with my past, even if it is not a very nice one. I have to go on with life and try my best not to repeat the things that I did which I'm not proud of. And even if I become someone better, someone from the past will always be there to remind me every now and then of who I was then. And that makes it harder to move on and forget. Besides, I don't think a person can really change. I don't think I can change, even if I try. I can pretend to become someone I'm not, yes, that I can do. But really change? I've tried, trust me, I've tried. But somehow I seem to always go back to who I was then, even if I hate the person I was then.

Things you would never know without the delights of movies...

I got this at the back of a handout from my English class a while ago. I'm not sure where the lecturers got it from but I would like to share this with you guys :-)

Here are just some of my favorites:

1. When they are alone, all foreign military officers prefer to speak to each other in English.
2. If you decide to start dancing on the street, everyone you meet will know the steps.
3. If staying in a haunted house, women should investigate any strange noises in their most revealing underwear.
4. A man will show no pain while taking the most ferocious beating, but will wince when a woman tries to clean his wounds.
5. The Eiffel tower can be seen from any window in Paris.
6. In a war it is impossible to die unless you make the mistake of showing someone a picture of your sweetheart back home
7. It's easy for anyone to land a plane providing there is someone in the control tower to talk you down.
8. All beds have a special L-shaped cover sheets that reach up to the armpit level on a woman but only waist level on the man lying beside her.
9. It does not matter if you are outnumbered in a fight involving martial arts-your enemies will wait patiently to attack you one by one by dancing around in a threatening manner until you have knocked out their predecessors.
10. All grocery shopping bags contain atleast one stick of french bread.
11. Should you decide to defuse a bomb, don't worry which wire to cut. You will always choose the right one.
12. During all police investigations, it will be necessary to visit a strip club at least once.
13. Even when driving down a perfectly straight road, it is necessary to turn the steering wheel vigorously from left to right every few moments.
14. If you are blond and pretty, it is possible to become a world expert on nuclear fission at the age of 22.
